Finally got started on my That Girl! jacket. I finished up the collar yesterday and got started on the shoulder increases. I'm using Knit Picks Cotlin (whisker) on size #8 needles. I'm hoping I can bust this out pretty fast because I need a cardi for work. And lookit that, I'm doing my first Knit-Along!

We walked to the park and got there just in time to see a safety talk and gear demonstration by some firemen. Otto was so excited.


I swear, my blog is turning into some kind of firetruck central!

Went for a walk with the kids and happened across a fire truck parked outside one of our friend's houses. Then we found the other fire truck in the Dari Mart parking lot and all the firemen hanging around the home brew supply shop. Was there a fire in the shop, or are the firemen taking up beer-making? Of course we had to stop and thoroughly investigate this fire truck before continuing on our walk.

And as a bonus, that's another number for my perpetual calendar.
