HST Doll Quilt for Amelia

24" square, made for Amelia for her 2nd birthday from a charm pack of Plume by Tula Pink, some plain white, and backed with yardage of one of the Plume prints. Bound with a pink/white stripe (not sure which fabric).

My Stitch & Bitch group went in together on a yarn swift and ball winder. Yay for co-op tools! The boys and I had fun winding up lots of yarn, see?

three ribbons

After talking about it for several years, I finally got it together and entered some of my work in the Lane County Fair. I entered three quilts and three photographs, and was so incredibly pleased to see that I won three ribbons!

I got the best pic of Otto and Henry sharing the headphones from my iPod (rocking out to Lady Gaga, who they love) on my cellphone, and I thought I saved it, so I just took kind of crap pictures of the kids the rest of the day, thinking I was going to post the cellphone pic as my daily. Only when I went to send the pic to myself it wasn't on my phone anymore. Cry, bitch, moan, pout. So here's a shot of Henry looking really hot instead.
