Henry's Caterpillar quilt (back)

You may remember that Henry asked for "my name, real big" on the back of his quilt. There ya go, kid. That's 67" wide, nearly the whole width of the quilt. Now I just need to add border panels and the back will be done. Then I'll have to figure out how I'm going to quilt this thing...

fall fingerless mitts

I loved the yarn I used for Otto's socks so much that I had to make myself a pair of fingerless mitts for fall. Slightly modified version of the long striped handwarmers by Whitney Van Nes, knit in Patons Kroy FX sock yarn (copper colors) on size 3 needles.

Finally got the top of Henry's quilt done! I started this during the summer, but then put all sewing on hold while we ran around outside for a few months. Now that the weather is turning, we're back on inside activities which means I can get my sewing done. 74" x 52"... now for the back. Henry wants "my name, real big". OK, I can do that.
