Makeda's Grey & Gold Quilt
I made this quilt back in April for my niece Makeda (born in May, had to wait to show the pics!). My own design, 33" x 39". Although the front looks nothing like my last quilt, they both have a striped binding and a polka-dot backing. Michael and Sheba did not find out what they were having, so I used gold and grey fabrics from my stash to make a nice gender-neutral quilt. I machine quilted wide zig-zags in gold, and hand quilted in the solid grey stripe with red no. 8 pearl cotton.

i think the hand stitching accents are the best part about this quilt. especially because you chose red!
Beautiful. The hand quilting is a wonderful touch.
