4.19.10

4.19.10

Today we transplanted our cucumber and tomato seedlings (started inside) out into the raised beds, and we found some teeny-tiny beet seedlings (started outside) just poking out to say hello!

I'm very excited about this year's garden, we are growing:
beets (five kinds!)
carrots
snow peas
lettuce/greens (two kinds)
tomatoes (roma and beefsteak)
cucumbers (pickling and slicing)
pumpkins (two kinds)
squash
green beans
cabbage
corn

And that doesn't include fruit! Four out of five of our trees blossomed this spring, so I'm really hoping we'll have apples and cherries in addition to the apricots. The blueberry bushes are still really small, but they may produce as well. And of course, there's the blackberry tangle growing in the English Laurel.
