Now that I have made several quilts based on square and rectangular pieces, I decided to take the next step and figure out triangles. Using a charm pack of
Plume by Tula Pink, some plain white cotton, and
Elizabeth Hartman's triangle block tutorial, I jumped into half square triangles yesterday. These pieces were very quick to put together, and are so much fun to play with.

The only problem now is, there are so many ways to arrange them, I can't decide what I want to do! These are only four of a huge number of possible variations. I like the bullseye and zigzag versions the best. But I need to play more before I decide.

ooooh! nice! I'm going to need to get brave and try some of these. I've been wanting to make a giant zigzag (like your first photo, then the next block down going the other way) for awhile but I haven't taken the plunge yet. Your photos may have been just the push I needed!
I also like the bulls eye and the zigzag patterns best. I love the way you've made the color gradation across your zigzags!
i love these
Thanks for the feedback!
